Andrew Russell Garfield (born August 20th, 1983) is an English and American actor who played the title character in the reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and reprised the role in the sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). During his career, Garfield has received a Tony Award, a BAFTA TV Award, and a Golden Globe, but he's never won an Academy Award. The cast of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 does, however, feature four Oscar winners — Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Sally Field, and Chris Cooper.
