May 1st

  • Shardlake — PG-13, 4-Part Series. Based on the first novel in C.J. Sansom's internationally popular Tudor murder mystery series, this is an eerie whodunnit adventure that's set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries. (Hulu)

  • Secrets of the Neanderthals — TV-PG, Documentary. This delves into the mysteries surrounding the Neanderthals and what their fossil record tells us about their lives and disappearance. (Netflix)
  • Turtles All the Way Down — PG-13, Film. Teen Aza Holmes is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, and a good student, all while navigating an endless barrage of invasive, obsessive thoughts she can't control. (Max)
  • The Idea of You — R, Film. Based on the acclaimed love story of the same name, this centers on 40-year-old single mom Solène (Anne Hathaway), who begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of a hot boy band. (Prime Video)
  • The Contestant — TV-MA, Documentary. This traces the experience of aspiring comedian Tomoaki Hamatsu, nicknamed Nasubi, who unwittingly was televised for a 1998 Japanese reality TV show. He spent 15 months stuck in a small room, trying to win magazine contest prizes. (Hulu)
  • The Tattooist of Auschwitz — TV-MA, Series. Inspired by the real-life story of Jewish Holocaust survivors Lali and Gita Sokolov. Lali was made one of the tattooists at Auschwitz-Birkenau, and he fell in love with fellow prisonor Gita when inking her identification number onto her arm. (Peacock)
  • Hacks — TV-MA, Season 3. Comedian Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and writer Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder) are bracing for their third act following the huge success of Deborah's lastest special. (Max)
  • A Man in Full — TV-MA, Series. Facing relentless foes and sudden bankruptcy, an Atlanta real estate tycoon must claw his way back to the top when his empire begins to crumble. (Netflix)
  • T • P Bon — TV-MA, Series. After Bon accidentally intervenes in a Time Patrol case, he must join Agent Ream in saving innocent lives from the past — while watching history unfold. (Netflix)
  • Beautiful Rebel — TV-MA, Film. The origin story of one of Italy's greatest rock stars, Gianna Nannini, who chased her dream despite obstacles from her family and the music industry. (Netflix)
May 3rd
  • Clarkson's Farm — TV-PG, Season 3 - Part 1. Piglets, mushrooms, and more mishaps ... Jeremy Clarkson faces some difficult challenges in his farm this season. Will he and Kaleb come up with urgent, yet interesting plans to turn it around? (Prime Video)
  • Prom Dates — PG-13, Film. With only 24 hours left before prom, best friends Jess and Hannah race against the clock to try and get dates for the big event. The girls made a pact at 13 to have the perfect senior prom and live out their middle-school fantasies. (Hulu)
  • Unfrosted — PG-13, Film. In a time when milk and cereal ruled breakfast, a fierce corporate battle begins over a revolutionary new pastry. This is a Pop-Tart comedy from Jerry Seinfeld. (Netflix)
  • Postcards — TV-14, Series. When a Nigerian single mother travels to India for a medical checkup, her journey will end up touching the lives of everyone she meets. (Netflix)
  • Selling the OC — TV-MA, Season 3. This spin-off from the producers of Selling Sunset features a new team of agents and gorgeous Orange County properties in stunning coastal locations. (Netflix)
  • John Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in LA — TV-MA, Live Stand-Up Comedy Special. In six live installments, John Mulaney explores Los Angeles during a week when pretty much every single funny person is in town. (Netflix)
May 4th
  • Star Wars: Tales of the Empire — TV-PG, Series. After losing everything, young Morgan Elsbeth navigates the expanding Imperial world toward a path of vengeance, while former Jedi Barriss Offee does what she must to survive a rapidly changing galaxy. (Disney+)
  • Kat Williams: Woke Foke — TV-MA, Live Stand-Up Comedy Special. Comedian Katt Williams lets loose in real time as he hits the stage for this May 4th livestreamed event. (Netflix)
May 5th
  • Monsters at Work — TV-G, Season 2. Tylor Tuskmon graduates top of his class from Monsters University and arrives at Monsters, Incorporated to begin his dream job as a Scarer (or not). The day he's set to begin, he learns they don't want Scarers ... they want Jokesters! (Disney+)
May 7th
  • Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story — NR, Documentary. From National Geographic comes a heart-warming tale of the love between a wild otter, Molly, and her devoted rescuer, Billy. It's set in the remote Scottish islands of Shetland. (Hulu/Disney+)
  • Kiss the Future — NR, Film. This is the story of defiance amid the 1990s siege of Sarajevo during the Bosnian War, which focuses on a vibrant underground community who used music and art — including the band U2 — to effect change and garner global attention. (Paramount+)
  • Super Rich in Korea — TV-MA, Series. A Singaporean tycoon, an Italian luxury brand heir, a Pakistani noble, and more. Explore the lavish lives of super rich individuals living in Korea. (Netflix)
May 8th
  • The Beatles: Let It Be — NR, Docuseries. First released in May 1970 amidst the swirl of The Beatles' breakup, this restored version brings viewers into the studio and onto Apple Corps' London rooftop in January 1969 as The Beatles write and record their GRAMMY Award®-winning album Let It Be. (Disney+)
  • Hollywood Con Queen — NR, Documentary. Based on the original reporting of veteran investigative journalist Scott Johnson for The Hollywood Reporter, this explores the mysterious figure dubbed the "Con Queen," who impersonates powerful women and lures victims to Indonesia with the promise of a life-changing career opportunity. (Apple TV+)
  • Dark Matter — TV-MA, Series. Based on the blockbuster book by Blake Crouch, this is a story about the road not taken, which follows Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton). One night while walking home on the streets of Chicago, he's abducted into an alternate version of his life. (Apple TV+)
  • Maxton Hall: The World Between Us — TV-MA, Series. Quick-witted scholarship student Ruby unwittingly witnesses a secret at Maxton Hall. Arrogant millionaire heir James is determined to silence her, but their clash ignites an unexpected spark between them. (Prime Video)

  • Pretty Little Liars: Summer School — TV-14, Season 2. Following the harrowing events of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the Pretty Little Liars now face a fate worse than death — summer school.   • Love Undercover — TV-MA, Series. Today's athletes are mega stars with extreme wealth and giant fandoms. You could even call them royalty. This modern-day fairytale meets buddy comedy is about an elite group of soccer stars who come to the United States on a secret quest for true love. (Peacock)
  • Blood of Zeus — TV-MA, Season 2. Powerhouse Animation Studios sculpts an epic war between gods, mortals, and demons in the dynamic mash-up of anime and mythology. (Netflix)
  • Bodkin — TV-MA, Series. A ragtag crew of podcasters sets out to investigate mysterious disappearances from decades earlier in a charming Irish town with dark, dreadful secrets. (Netflix)

  • Living with Leopards — TV-PG, Film. A film crew follows two leopard cubs as they make the fascinating journey from infancy into adulthood in this up-close-and-personal nature documentary. (Netflix)
  • Doctor Who — PG-13, Season 14. This season follows the Doctor and his companion Ruby Sunday as they travel across time and space, with adventures all the way from the Regency era in England to war-torn future worlds. (Disney+)
  • Cooking Up Murder: Uncovering the Story of Cesar Roman — TV-MA, Docuseries. This analyzes a murder case implicating a Spanish chef, who built a career in the spotlight through a web of secrets and false identities. (Netflix)

  • Uncle Samsik — NYR, Series. Set in 1960s Korea, this follows Kim San, an ambitious idealist and a recipient of an Albright Scholarship. Driven to turn his country's fortunes around, San crosses paths with a shady fixer and the pair form an uneasy alliance. (Hulu)
