August 1st

  • Unstable — TV-MA, Season 2. He's an eccentric biotech genius (Rob Lowe). His son's a pragmatist living in his shadow (John Owen Lowe). To save the family business, they'll have to work through some issues. (Netflix)
  • A Good Girl's Guide to Murder — TV-MA, Film. Five years after the murder of a 17-year-old girl in a sleepy English town, one student is determined to uncover the truth and find the real killer. (Netflix)
  • Borderless Fog — TV-MA, Film. A detective is assigned to investigate a mysterious murder case that occurred on the border between Indonesia and Malaysia. At the same time, she's faced with a past that continues to haunt her. (Netflix)
  • Mon Laferte, te amo — TV-MA, Documentary. In this intimate documentary, Chilean artist Mon Laferte recounts her life in Mexico as she navigates a global tour, motherhood, and her deepest wounds. (Netflix)

  • Chimp Crazy — NYR, Documentary. Tonia Haddix, who refers to herself as the "Dolly Parton of chimps," spends her days caring for animals in captivity.
