August 1st

  • WWE SummerSlam Saturday — Live Event at 6pm Eastern. WWE is advertising six matches from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (Peacock)

August 3rd

  • Ted Bundy: Dialogue with the Devil — TV-MA, Documentary. In 1984, Ted Bundy offered his insight to detectives in the hunt for the Green River Killer, but his motives were anything but pure. As Bundy toyed with the detectives, the line between help and horror blurred. (Hulu)
August 8th
  • Stolen: Heist of the Century — TV-14, Documentary. In 2003, a gang of thieves rob the impenetrable Diamond Center in Belgium. Who was behind one of the world's biggest heists, and how did they pull it off? (Netflix)

  • Iron Man and His Awesome Friends — TV-Y, Series. This new series follows the adventures (and misadventures) of best friends and super geniuses Iron Man, Iron Heart, and Iron Hulk as they work together to solve problems both big and small. (Disney+)
  • Final Draft — TV-PG, Series. Mostly retired athletes compete to win 30M yen to launch their second career. Can they overcome tough physical and psychological challenges? (Netflix)
  • Alien: Earth — TV-MA, Series. When the mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, "Wendy" (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet's greatest threat. (Hulu)
  • Jim Jefferies: Two Limb Policy — TV-MA, Stand-Up Comedy Special. Comedian Jim Jefferies unleashes his thoughts on tiny mustaches, straight-guy struggles, and why acting doesn't count as a real job. (Netflix)

  • Songs from the Hole — TV-MA, Documentary. A young man behind prison bars composed this acclaimed documentary-visual album, using first-person narration and lyrical journal entries. (Netflix)
  • Sausage Party: Foodtopia — TV-MA, Season 2. It was the best of times, it was the wurst of times. (Prime Video)

  • LEGO Disney Princess: Villains Unite — TV-G, Special. A follow-up from LEGO Disney Princess: The Cast Quest, this tells the story of what happened after Ariel, Moana, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Snow White thwarted Gaston's plan to take over all of their kingdoms. (Disney+)
